In the process of forming complex melting pellets, on the one hand the grain boundary is oxidized, the grain strength is reduced, and on the other hand many microscopic voids are generated, so that the grain interface energy is increased, the strength of the metal is reduced, and it is easy to use during use. Premature failure.

(2) Long process production time, up to 16 hours, low production efficiency, and high energy consumption.

From the metallographic observation and mechanical performance test data can be seen, 250 °C × 7h treatment process is ideal. The Al-Sn eutectic is distributed along the grain boundary in a discontinuous network. On the one hand, the distribution of the Al-Sn eutectic is uniform and ensures good wear resistance. On the other hand, the Al-Sn eutectic does not divide the matrix, making the alloy better. Plasticity and toughness. Using 250 °C × 7h treatment process can get higher hardness, because the alloy contains less Cu, metal mold cooling speed, in the casting cooling process, has ensured Cu melted into the solid solution, played a quenching effect. This has also been demonstrated by increasing the hardness through natural aging. The tensile strength of air-cooled process at 250°C×7h air-cooling process is higher than that of 515°C×6h+18°C×8h air-cooling process by 47%. The air-cooling process temperature of 250°C×7h is slightly higher than the melting point of the Al-Sn eutectic, in order to obtain a discontinuous distribution of the Al-Sn eutectic through a short holding time without overheating the eutectic. On the basis of the process tests, a small batch (400 pieces) of trial production was carried out. After the hardness, metallographic examination, and test of the product on the test bench, all were qualified. The process was put into production in 1996 and has produced hundreds of thousands of shaft sleeves, all of which are qualified.
