Electric scissors

Electric scissors is a double-insulated hand-held power tool that uses a single-phase series motor as the power to drive the work head through the conveyor to cut the work. It has the advantages of convenient cutting of various shapes of steel plates, light weight, safety and reliability. Widely used in automotive, shipbuilding, aircraft and repair and other departments of sheet metal applications, the thin plate, sheet metal and other plates cut operations.

The electric scissors consist of a motor, a gear box, an eccentric shaft-link mechanism, a switch, a non-reconnectable plug, and a cutter.

The motor adopts the single-phase series excitation motor and is placed in the plastic casing. The plastic casing is not only the structural member supporting the motor, but also the stator additional insulation. The additional insulation with the rotor constitutes a double insulation structure.

The electric motor drives the eccentric shaft-linkage mechanism through the reduction gear box, so that the cutter rod drives the upper cutter head to reciprocate to cut the metal plate, and the lower cutter head is fixed on the cutter holder. The power cord is a double-core sheathed flexible cable, and the double-column rubber plug constitutes a non-reconnectable plug.
