Temperature Management
1. Fruit setting stage: The shed temperature is controlled at 27 °C ~ 28 °C in the morning, 25 °C in the afternoon, and 12 °C ~ 16 °C in the night. When there is more watering and humidity, it is necessary to strengthen the air release. In addition to the top wind, the wind can be placed.
2. After the first spike is whitish: the shed temperature is controlled at 28 °C ~ 32 °C in the morning, 24 °C ~ 26 °C in the afternoon, and 15 °C ~ 18 °C in the night. At this time, it is necessary to gradually increase the amount of air release. When the minimum outside temperature is stable above 12 °C, the wind is not closed; when it is stable above 15 °C, the wind is not closed.
3. The first spike is harvested until the plant is pulled. At this time, high temperature is prevented to prevent the second spike and the subsequent fruit from being poorly colored or causing sunburn. The shed temperature is controlled at 25 °C ~ 28 °C in the morning, 24 °C ~ 26 °C in the afternoon, and 15 °C ~ 20 °C in the night. After harvesting the first spike fruit, increase the amount of air to be released until natural ventilation.
Fertilizer Management
When the first ear fruit grows to a diameter of 1.5 to 2.5 cm, the seedlings are finished, and watering and fertilization are started to supply the nutrients required for rapid expansion of the fruit, and the cooked and diluted manure can be applied at 700 kg/mu, or urea 10 kg/mu and potassium sulfate. 10 ~ 15 kg / acre, can also be used 0.2% ~ 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate for foliar application. In the fruiting period, when the first ear fruit turns from green to white, it needs to be watered for the second time. After every 7-8 days, the water should be poured once every time. The watering amount should not be too large; 5~6 Sub-fertilizer or more, each application of fertilizer with 10 kg / mu of urea or 25 kg / mu of ammonium sulfate, pay attention to the right amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer when fertilizing. In the fruit-bearing period, water and fertilizer should be sufficient, but also uniform, can not be suddenly big or small, otherwise it is easy to produce hollow fruit and umbilical rot fruit.
Pruning and topping should be carried out at high temperatures around noon on sunny days, which is good for wound healing. In order to make the fruit set neat and the growth rate is the same, the fruit can be thinned, and 3 to 4 strong fruits are retained per ear. In the later stage, the old leaves and yellow leaves of the lower part of the plant should be removed to reduce nutrient consumption, which is conducive to ventilation and light transmission.
