So the researchers made lead crystals of lead bromide, which is about 8 nanometers long, and introduced a conventional nitride phosphor in a very simple way. When the blue laser emits light, the nanocrystals and the nitride emit green and red light at the same time, so that the three beams can be combined to emit white light. Researchers say that the optical properties of the new materials they study need to be characterized by femtosecond transient spectra.
At the same time, the researchers also showed that they have the ability to present the optical progression of lead bromide nanocrystals in just 7 nanoseconds. That is to say, optical radiation of up to 491 MHz can also be modulated, which is 40 times faster than the addition of phosphor powder. In addition, the researchers said that the speed of data transmission can theoretically reach 2GB per second! That means that as long as your computer's storage capacity is large enough, you will not be afraid to download high-definition movies or large games.
