Long-acting nitrogen fertilizer application points

Long-acting nitrogen fertilizer is suitable for all kinds of crops and various soil conditions. There are two main types of long-acting nitrogen fertilizers currently used in China: long-acting urea and long-acting ammonium bicarbonate. The application method is basically the same as urea and ammonium bicarbonate. The specific application points are as follows:

1. The nitrogen release of long-acting nitrogen fertilizer is relatively slow, and the peak release period is about 5 days later than urea, so it should be earlier than the regular application period of urea. Generally, early Spring is 5-6 days ahead of schedule, and summer is 3-4 days ahead of time.

2. Long-acting nitrogen fertilizer has strong nitrogen retention capacity in soil and high utilization rate. Therefore, its dosage is slightly less than that of normal nitrogen fertilizer. It is usually 10%-15% less than the constant.

3. Due to different soil quality, the absorption and preservation ability of long-acting nitrogen fertilizer in the soil also has obvious differences. The absorption and preservation ability of clay is strong, and the amount of clay can be more; the sandy soil should be applied in small amounts multiple times.

4. Scientifically apply long-acting nitrogen fertilizer according to different nitrogen absorption characteristics of crops.
