“We have applied the most complete anti-corrosion monitoring technology in the international high-acid gas field. The gas field has been put into production for more than three years, and the corrosion rate of the gathering system is lower than the corrosion control index of 0.076 mm per year. It is in a safe and controlled state.†Puguang, Institute of Oil Production Engineering Technology Deputy Director Hui Xiaomin said. At present, the gas field gathering and transportation system corrosion monitoring has achieved full coverage, including corrosion coupon detection, electric head probe, electrical fingerprint, etc., only 138 Puguang main gas collection station detection points. "In the early stage of Puguang's main production, due to the coexistence of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide, for safety reasons, we have increased the continuous filling standard for corrosion inhibitors," said Liu Erxi, deputy director of the Gas Production Plant Technical Office. In the first half of this year, the gas production plant comprehensively analyzed the corrosion status of the gathering system, systematically carried out optimization of corrosion inhibitor filling parameters and residual concentration studies, and adjusted the amount of corrosion inhibitor filling and batch processing frequency. They first carried out the corrosion reduction test on the Puguang 107 gas gathering station, and continued to optimize the filling scheme to reduce the continuous corrosion rate of the station corrosion inhibitor to 54 liters/1 million cubic meters of natural gas, only in the first half of the year. Anti-corrosion work not only requires a "CT" scan of the gathering system, but also a reasonable "treatment" plan for the scan results. There are two Sinopec hydrogen sulfide laboratories, one of which is in the Puguang gas field. “Our high-pressure corrosion test room has advanced equipment and instruments. Researchers can conduct research on the corrosion problem of the gas field gathering and transportation system. Just like a doctor, we will open a 'prescription' to solve the problem, and scientifically guide the gas field anti-corrosion work.†Zhang Cheng said.
