Splitter for turning multi-threaded threads

Accurate splitting when turning multi-start threads is a key issue in ensuring process quality. If there is an error in the thread splitting, the pitch of the finished product will be unequal, which will affect the matching precision of the inner and outer threads. Our factory uses C6140 lathe when processing the worm parts shown in Figure 1. In order to ensure the accuracy of splitting, we designed a simple splitting fixture as shown in Figure 2.
