First, use a life-saving air cushion with caution in case of fire, so as not to induce jumping. If the air cushion is equal to disguise in the fire to encourage the masses to jump off the building, this will lead to three very serious problems: the first is that the masses may jump down before the air cushion has completed the inflation, and directly hit the ground, causing more serious casualties; After the masses saw the air cushion, they rushed to jump down first. The second is to set the air cushion in the battlefield that counts every second. In the fire that counts every second, the first consideration is to organize the fire immediately and rescue the trapped people. Because the fire escape time is very limited (according to the study in the fire room, it takes only six minutes to burn from the fire to the full combustion). In such a short period of time, it is not practical to consider setting the life-saving air cushion first. It takes time to wait for the air cushion to be inflated. The air cushion is too light. When the inflation is completed, it is easy to flutter. The whole process requires at least 5 people to operate at the same time. Together with the time required for the fire brigade to dispatch, it is too late. Therefore, we must use air cushions to save lives. Do not cause the masses to wait for the air cushion to be laid, and delay the escape timing, which will cause more serious casualties. In addition, when the masses jumped down, the existing iron bars were everywhere, and there were obstacles to the space everywhere. Can the masses accurately land on the air cushion? It can be seen that in the ever-changing fire, the commander should keep a clear head, judge the situation, apply fire-fighting tactics reasonably, and accurately play the role of life-saving air cushions and other equipment.

The third is to do a good job in routine maintenance and inspection of air cushions. On August 29, 2006, the Technical Supervision Committee of the Ministry of Public Security approved the release of GA631-2006 "Fire Rescue Air Cushion" fire rescue air cushion divided into ordinary fire rescue air cushion and air column fire rescue air cushion. The "Fire Rescue Air Cushion" standard specifies the type, technical requirements, test methods, use and storage, daily inspection and inspection rules of fire rescue air cushions. Due to the particularity of the fire rescue air cushion product, the standard clearly stipulates that it is only used for emergency rescue of the fire department and there is no other alternative method. The rescue height should not exceed 16 meters. Every three months, the inflator should be taken out once, and the 50 kg sandbag should be used for three times to test from the height of 12 meters. It is strictly forbidden for the person to perform the test jump during daily inspection. Therefore, firefighters must strictly follow the above requirements in daily inspections, maintenance, and must not be numb and cause accidents.
