Adjustable voltage switching power supply is a power supply that widens the voltage on the basis of a regulated switching power supply to achieve a large range of adjustable output voltage (generally continuously adjustable from 0V to rated value). The voltage adjustable power supply generally adopts changing the voltage dividing ratio of the sampling circuit to realize the adjustment of the output voltage.
What are the output voltage adjustment methods for adjustable voltage power supplies?
There are three general voltage adjustment methods: hand-turn potentiometer, external multi-turn potentiometer, and analog signal control.
1. Hand-turn potentiometer
On the right side of the output terminal of the voltage adjustable power supply, there is a blue potentiometer, as shown below (below ADJ). Under normal circumstances, you can adjust the output voltage by turning the potentiometer directly with a screwdriver. Adjusting the output voltage in a clockwise direction gradually increases.

As shown in the figure below, if you touch a multi-turn potentiometer at the blue potentiometer, you can directly adjust the output voltage manually. Compared with the manual potentiometer, the operation is more convenient.

3. Analog signal control
Analog signal control generally refers to 0-5V or 0-10V analog signal. For example, after Huayao 0-12V voltage adjustable power supply is connected to 0-5V analog signal, the signal control relationship is as shown in the figure below. The analog signal 1V corresponds to the control power output 2.4V , Analog signal 3V corresponding control power output 7.2V.

The characteristic of the voltage adjustable switching power supply is that the output voltage is continuously adjustable, so the application advantage is more obvious in the place where the voltage needs to be continuously adjusted.
