Cover grass protection. Before the freezing damage, cover the rapeseed with a layer of crop straw or a layer of grass ash to reduce the damage of cold wind.
Management after freezing. After the cold current, check the seedlings in time, find the frozen seedlings to support the soil, and eliminate the accumulated water in the rain and snow weather. After thawing, spray a new high-fat film to reduce water evaporation and prevent water loss.
Increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to improve the cold resistance, disease resistance and lodging resistance of rapeseed. Before wintering, 1000-1500 kg of pig manure per mu or 2500~3000 kg of soil fertilizer can increase the soil temperature by 2 °C~3 °C.
Irrigation and antifreeze. Fill the water before the cold current to stabilize the temperature and prevent dry freezing. After freezing, the irrigation should be carried out at noon on a sunny day to make the topsoil of the frozen protrusions firm, ensuring that the roots of the rapeseed are intimately joined to the soil.
Foliar spray fertilizer. Spraying potassium dihydrogen phosphate, vigor, Huimanfeng and other fertilizers before winter can improve the cold resistance of rapeseed. The boron-poor rape should be sprayed with 0.2% borax solution. Spray fertilizer should be mixed with new high-fat membrane to improve fertilizer efficiency and prevent infection.
