China's new energy future development

From the perspective of available resources, wind energy, solar energy, biomass energy, and ocean energy have all developed to the level of several hundred million tons of standard coal per year. On the whole, at present, China's emerging energy use technology has little difference with foreign countries, and it is in an international advanced level in some areas. With the continuous advancement and development of emerging energy utilization technologies, the cost of conventional energy development will increase. Especially considering the cost of carbon emission reduction, the emerging energy competitiveness will continue to increase, and its role in China's overall energy structure will gradually increase.

Whether new energy can replace the core energy of conventional energy on a large scale is its cost and environmental impact. From the use point of view, emerging energy can be divided into three categories: power generation, heat utilization and fuel. The economic costs and technical barriers to the use of new energy sources also vary according to their uses.
