Sinochem Xinhua Liu Xiaoyu, associate professor of the Food Science Academy of Huazhong Agricultural University, recently invented a new technology for rapid detection of pesticide residues. This achievement has made up for the shortage of the existing rapid detection methods for pesticide residues that are limited to laboratories, and can ensure the safety of agricultural foods more quickly and effectively.
For the first time, this technique has systematically studied and optimized the chemiluminescence conditions of seven organophosphorus pesticides, and established a chemiluminescent detection method for these pesticides. The detection limit of the new rapid detection technology meets the requirements of the national standard, and has the characteristics of reusable, strong specificity, and suitable for on-site inspection.
