Reasonable amount of smooth grease

Some people think that smooth grease is used for smooth bearings; of course, the more the better; in fact, it is unnecessary to add too much smooth grease in the bearing; instead, it will increase the conflict; increase the temperature. Less; smooth grease oil film repair is not strong; will make the bearing smooth condition deteriorate. Therefore; it is important to determine the proper loading of smooth grease in the bearing.
Refer to the following guidelines for the amount of smooth grease filled in rolling bearings:
(1) The general bearing should not be filled with smooth grease; it can be loaded into the inner cavity of the bearing 1/2~3/4.
(2) The horizontal bearing fills 2/3~3/4 of the inner cavity space,
(3) The bearing of the straight device fills 1/2 of the inner cavity space (upper side); 3/4 (lower side),
(4) In a simple polluted environment; for low or medium speed bearings; fill all the space in the bearing box,
(5) High-speed bearings should be placed in high-quality smooth oil before loading. Generally, they should be soaked in the base oil with smooth grease; avoid bearing burnout due to lack of smooth grease on the collision surface during start-up.
Smooth grease loading; generally can be budgeted as follows:
V (cm3) = 0. 01 * d (inner diameter mm) * B (width mm)
